Retail and Consumer Price Index adjustments for connectivity (RPI & CPI)

We wanted to let you know that on 1 April 2022 we’ll be increasing the charges for reoccurring connectivity rentals for customers.

The price rise is in accordance with the Retail Price Index (RPI) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) rates published by the Office for National Statistics. Annually from 1 April 2022 we will adjust the amount customers pay to reflect inflation, so we can continue to invest in our networks, products and services.

Consumer Price Index (CPI)

The CPI is a measure of whether the cost of goods and services is going up or down based on average price changes from across several industries. More information is available on the Office for National Statistics website – simply search
CPI Office for National Statics.

The CPI increase at this time is 5.4%.

*Monthly price shown plus all out of bundle charges will increase each April by the Consumer Price Index rate published in January of that year + an additional 3.9%.

If you have a Device Plan, this will not affect your monthly Device Plan.

Retail Price Index (RPI)

The RPI is a widely recognised measure of the UK’s general level of inflation and is used by many industries as a guide on whether to adjust prices, and by how much. More information is available on the Office for National Statistics website – simply search RPI Office for National Statics.

The RPI increase at this time is 7.5%.

If you have a Device Plan, this will not affect your monthly Device Plan.
